Museo Camera presents Under the Mango Tree, a solo guitar presentation of original music compositions by Gurgaon-based guitarist Deepak Castelino.
Delving into a wide range of varying music genres from jazz, blues and contemporary sounds, Deepak's presentation is, in essence, an expression of a collection of thoughts during periods of highs and lows—from the happiness of a clear and ethereally-silent blue sky during the unfortunate pandemic, to the smell of wet earth after the rains; from the frenetic active business of scurrying squirrels to flocks of jungle babblers in the mango tree.
Throughout the lockdown the magnificent mango tree in Deepak's garden stood calm, steadfast and strong as if to say, 'Just wait, this too will pass.'
