The Museo Camera is committed to protecting your privacy. When you visit our Website or use our Website to become a Museo Camera friend, purchase tickets, make a donation, become a Museum Member, sign up to receive our e-newsletter, or participate in our surveys, the Museo Camera takes reasonable steps to protect your privacy. 

This Privacy Statement and terms of use apply to the online activities of the Museo Camera. Sometimes the Museo Camera uses third party vendors to perform certain services on our behalf, such as email distribution, order fulfillment, and shipping; these vendors will have access to Personal Information to the extent required to perform their functions. 

The Museo Camera may also use Personal Information you submit to the Museo Camera in order to communicate with you about exhibitions, programs, membership, development, surveys, special events, and other the Museo Camera news that may be of interest to you and for other marketing and promotional purposes. You will always have the opportunity to decline further communications (see below for instructions on how to opt out).

The Museo Camera may share or exchange Members’ name and address information with other charitable or cultural not-for-profit organizations. 

The Museo Camera will disclose information, if required, for purposes of law enforcement or the enforcement of the Museo Camera’s or a third party’s rights, such as intellectual property rights and laws relating to fraud. Survey Responses

The Museo Camera may invite you to participate in one of our surveys, which provide the Museo Camera with valuable feedback about our exhibitions and programs and information about visitors’ experiences, preferences, and needs.

These surveys may request certain Personal Information from you, including household and demographic data such as age, marital status, size of household, etc. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to disclose this information to us. 

The Museo Camera may use third party service providers to conduct surveys or analyze survey data; such service providers will not use your Personal Information for any other purpose. We will not share any Personal Information gathered through a survey with other third parties without giving you prior notice and an opportunity to opt out.

Children’s Information

The Museo Camera does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age. If Personal Information regarding a child is required for program participation or similar reasons, the Museo Camera will collect this information from the child’s parent or accompanying adults/teachers/guardian.

You may opt out of receiving further communications from the Museo Camera at any time. Any communication sent to you by the Museo Camera will include an unsubscribe link or other instructions that will allow you to opt out of future communications.
