Inviting you all for a violin jugalbandi performance by Sharat and his friends on 3rd August 2024 at 6:30PM.
Taking the Guru Shishya parampara legacy forward of his grandfather/Guru Pt. Joi Srivastava of the Senia Gharana, Sharat will be performing Hindustani Classical violin jugalbandi with his son Raghav Chandra.
In the fusion set Sharat is joined by a team of fantastic musicians—Gyan Singh on tabla, Manohar Balatchandirane on Mridangam and Risshi S Sachdeva on Guitar.
As a member of two of the biggest Indian bands Mrigya and Parikrama, Sharat Chandra Srivastava has explored a range of genres and musical traditions, and founded Sharat and Friends with the hope of continuing that exploration.
The event is open to all, seating will be available on a first come first serve basis.
