All Material Provided
Camera will be provided for the duration of the workshop. One B&W film roll (120 or 35mm), six sheets of silver gelatin paper and all equipment and darkroom chemicals are included. While extra supplies are available for purchase.

Photographer, historian and Founder-Director of Museo Camera with years of experience across advertising and fine art, he champions the slowness of analog processes. He practices and teaches historic techniques like cyanotype and wet plate collodion, keeping them alive through hands-on learning.

Avinash Aggarwal
FACILITATOR45+ years experience
Aggarwal’s practice spans several decades, encompassing commercial work in product, industrial, interior, and portrait photography. Alongside this, he has consistently engaged with the artistic and experimental dimensions of the medium, with expertise in black-and-white and colour darkroom processes, as well as alternative photographic techniques. He currently runs his studio, Studio A89, at Kaladham, Greater Noida, where he also teaches analogue and alternative photography, and conducts workshops across institutions in the Delhi NCR region.

No, there is no prior knowledge needed for this workshop.
Yes, the workshop is meant for ages 15+
No, all equipment and materials will be provided by Museo.
On the first day: Introductory lecture on photography history and silver gelatin printing. Then learning to use a film camera, shooting on 35 mm B&W film and developing negatives in the darkroom. On the second day: Leaning darkroom printing, creating test strips, contact sheets, and prints. Each participant will get to make 3 - 4 prints, which they can then take home at the end of the day.
Yes, a digital certificate will be provided upon completion of the workshop.
The workshop is conducted in small batches of up-to 4 people per batch.
No, the workshop only covers black and white film photography.
Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended for the workshop.
Each participant will receive a 15% discount at the museum cafe on both days of the workshop.
