Kiran Sawhney
Kiran Sawhney is among the pioneers of Argentine Tango in India. A teacher, performer, DJ, organiser, and community builder, she has spent over 24 years studying, teaching, performing, DJing, and promoting Argentine Tango. She has travelled extensively to Buenos Aires and other major Tango destinations around the world, deepening her understanding of the dance, its music, and its culture. Through her teaching, Kiran focuses on connection, musicality, technique, and the social traditions that make Argentine Tango a uniquely enriching experience. Her classes are known for being welcoming, engaging, and accessible to dancers of all backgrounds.
