Dr. Aradhna Chaudhry is a self-taught minimalist artist and practicing dental surgeon based in Gurugram, Haryana. A graduate in Dental Surgery from Kurukshetra University, she has served in the Haryana Government's Health Department since 2006. Her creative journey blends science, Indian classical dance, and visual art.
She holds diplomas in Hospital Management (NIHFW, New Delhi), Kathak Dance (Pracheen Kala Kendra, 2018), and Fine Arts (Delhi College of Art, 2019). In 2023, she completed an advanced art course at the Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Dr. Chaudhry’s works have been featured in solo shows at India Habitat Centre (Brahmavarta, 2023), Bikaner House (Vinayaki, 2023), Nehru Centre London (Yatra, 2024), and Mexico City (Nritya). Her painting Kesari – The King was exhibited at MFA Houston, and she was awarded by AIFACS, Amritsar (2024). One of her works was selected for the Viksit Bharat Exhibition at the Art Gallery of Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi (Feb 2025). Her artworks are also part of collections at the Indian High Commission, London, and MFA Houston.
Rooted in the folk traditions of Haryana, her practice merges regional motifs with crafts like embroidery and crochet. Through minimal, contemplative works, she explores feminine heritage and seeks to revive India’s cultural memory.
